About Daniel
Daniel Blomgren is an attorney who built his practice after completing studies on both coasts. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of California, Berkeley in 2007 and a Juris Doctor from the University of San Francisco School of Law in 2012. Those academic years shaped his approach to legal problems, combining business sensibility with courtroom training.
After law school he moved directly into firm practice. In 2012 he joined Gordon & Rees LLP as an associate. He spent the early years of his career there developing the practical skills that come from day-to-day representation and courtroom preparation. In 2014 he became an associate at Clapp Moroney, where he added new responsibilities and handled matters assigned by senior attorneys.
Three years after finishing law school he took an entrepreneurial turn. In 2015 he became owner of Coepio Legal LLP. Running a small firm brought a different set of duties. He has overseen case strategy, client intake and the administrative side of legal practice while continuing legal work for clients.
Blomgren is admitted to practice in California and is admitted to the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California. Those admissions allow him to appear in state courts and in federal court within the Northern District. The combination of state and federal practice has informed how he prepares cases and manages litigation calendars.
His undergraduate background in business administration complements his legal training. That mix gives him perspective when advising clients whose matters touch on commercial or organizational concerns. Colleagues describe him as methodical in building files and deliberate in courtroom preparation.
