About Dana
Dana Bellingrath built her path to the law through steady academic progress. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1998. More than a decade later she completed her legal studies at North Carolina Central University School of Law, receiving her J.D. in 2009.
After law school, Bellingrath established her practice in the state where she trained. She is admitted to practice in North Carolina and has worked in settings that require both courtroom presence and detailed legal drafting. Over the years she has handled matters that call for research, negotiation and representation before state tribunals.
Her background in psychology informs an analytical approach to legal problems. That training can be helpful when assessing client needs, preparing witnesses and weighing strategic options. Colleagues describe her work as attentive to fact patterns and mindful of procedural deadlines, and she often coordinates with clients to set realistic expectations about timing and outcomes.
At HAAS & ASSOCIATES P.A., Bellingrath engages in typical law firm practice: interviewing clients, developing case theories, drafting pleadings and advising on procedural steps. She also spends time tracking developments in North Carolina law and court practice. That ongoing attention to state rules helps when cases require quick adjustments or a change in litigation posture.
Outside the immediate tasks of casework, she has shown an interest in mentoring newer lawyers and staff. She participates in the internal review of filings and contributes to firm discussions on case strategy. The combination of classroom training, practical experience and repeated courtroom exposure has shaped how she evaluates risk and prepares cases for hearing.
Her work remains centered in North Carolina. She currently practices law in North Carolina at HAAS & ASSOCIATES P.A.
