About Damon
Damon Miller is an attorney admitted to practice in Virginia and is authorized to appear in several federal district courts, including the Districts of Colorado, Nebraska, Maryland, the District of Columbia, and both the Eastern and Western Districts of Virginia. He earned his law degree in 2022 and moved quickly from entry-level legal work into courtroom practice.
He began his postsecondary studies at Chattanooga State Community College, where he completed an A.S. in Business Administration in 2017. He then earned a B.A. in English Literature from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga in 2019. Miller completed his legal education at William & Mary Marshall-Wythe School of Law, receiving his J.D. in 2022.
Miller’s early legal work started in support roles. In 2014 he worked as a paralegal at Mark T. Young & Associates, and in 2015 he joined Eric Buchanan & Associates as a paralegal. Those years gave him hands-on exposure to case preparation and the practical mechanics of litigation. He returned to BenGlassLaw as a law clerk in 2020 and became a lawyer with the same firm in 2022.
Outside daily casework, Miller participates in several professional organizations. He is a member of the Federal Bar Association, the Fairfax Bar Association, and the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association, memberships he took on beginning in 2022. Since December 2022 he has served as Editor and Trial Reporter for the Maryland Association of Justice, a role that involves tracking trial court decisions and reporting on developments for the association’s membership. He has also volunteered as a lawyer for Good Samaritan Advocates since 2023.
Those activities complement his courtroom qualifications. Miller is admitted in state court in Virginia and holds permission to practice in multiple federal districts, which allows him to handle matters that cross state and federal lines. His background includes years of litigation support and then concentrated work as a law clerk and attorney, giving him a practical perspective on preparing cases for trial and managing procedural requirements.
Colleagues describe Miller as pragmatic and detail-oriented in his approach to discovery and court filings. He balances research and written advocacy with courtroom responsibilities. He currently practices at BenGlassLaw, handling civil litigation matters in state and federal courts.
