About Dale
Dale Huntley built his legal foundation through study and steady practice. He took an undergraduate degree at Edinboro University of Pennsylvania, then earned his J.D. from the University of Idaho College of Law in 1982. That year marked the end of his formal legal education and the start of a long career in courtrooms and offices.
He is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and before several federal tribunals. His admissions include the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, and the U.S. Supreme Court. Those credentials have shaped the range of matters he handles and the venues where he appears.
Huntley is a partner at MacDonald, Illig, Jones & Britton. He has worked there alongside other litigators and counseled clients on cases that proceed through both state and federal processes. As a partner, he combines courtroom work with case management and client consultation.
His professional activity extends to bar involvement. He maintains current membership in the Pennsylvania State Bar, participating in the professional network that governs practice standards in the state. That membership reflects an ongoing connection to the state legal community and the rules that govern courtroom procedure.
Court and appellate work have been a consistent part of his practice. He files briefs, argues motions and participates in oral arguments when cases require it. His admissions to district, circuit and supreme courts allow him to follow matters from trial court stages to higher review when necessary.
Colleagues describe his approach as methodical and centered on the facts presented in each matter. He balances written advocacy and in-person argument, and he works with clients to prepare for hearings and appeals. He currently practices at MacDonald, Illig, Jones & Britton, where he represents clients in matters before state and federal courts.
