About D. Rep

D. Rep DeLoach built his legal foundation at Mercer University. He earned a B.A. in political science in 1992 and a J.D. from the Mercer University Walter F. George School of Law in 1996. Those years set the stage for a practice centered in Florida law and matters affecting older adults.

He began practicing in Florida soon after law school. By 2001 he was working at DeLoach, Hofstra & Cavonis, P.A., where his name has remained associated with the firm’s practice. The record shows steady involvement in the firm’s work across multiple office locations. He has practiced in the Seminole, Sun City Center and New Port Richey offices of DeLoach, Hofstra & Cavonis.

DeLoach pursued specialization in elder law. The Florida Bar Association has recognized him as Board Certified in Elder Law. Board certification is a formal credential that indicates additional study and peer review in a particular area of law. For DeLoach, that credential aligns with the memberships he maintains in organizations aimed at elder law and care planning.

His professional affiliations include longstanding ties to the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and the Academy of Florida Elder Law Attorneys, both of which list his membership beginning in 2002 and continuing to the present. He is also a member of the Life Care Planning Law Offices Association, a membership he has held since 2010. Those groups bring together lawyers who handle legal matters for older clients and their families, and they inform practice approaches and professional collaboration.

Throughout his career he has been based in Florida and associated with DeLoach, Hofstra & Cavonis, P.A. The firm maintains multiple offices in the state, and DeLoach has been identified with their Seminole, Sun City Center and New Port Richey locations. Public records note his role as a lawyer at the firm in 2001, and subsequent listings reflect continued practice there in the years that followed.

Today he continues to practice in Florida at DeLoach, Hofstra & Cavonis, P.A., handling matters in elder law and life care planning. His current practice focus is on elder law and life care planning matters at DeLoach, Hofstra & Cavonis, P.A.
