About Cynthia Grover
Cynthia Grover Hastings built her legal foundation at Clark University and Boston College Law School. She earned a Bachelor of Arts at Clark, then continued to Boston for her Juris Doctor. Those years set the stage for a career spent inside courtrooms and clients’ living rooms, where law and everyday life intersect.
Early in her career Hastings gravitated toward family law. She joined bar associations that concentrate on family matters, and she has remained active in those professional circles. She holds membership in the American Bar Association’s Family Law Section and in the Massachusetts Bar Association’s Family Law Section. In her local legal community she serves as a clerk for the Lawrence Bar Association, a role that keeps her engaged with court operations and the procedural side of practice.
Throughout her practice Hastings has balanced case work with participation in organized bar activities. The association work gives her regular contact with peers who practice family law across Massachusetts and beyond. It also provides a forum for discussing developments in family law and for staying current on procedural changes and emerging issues that affect clients.
