About Cydney
Cydney Bulger began her legal path at the University of Georgia, where she earned a B.A. in political science in 2009. She went on to complete her Juris Doctor at Florida Coastal School of Law in 2012. Those academic years shaped a courtroom pragmatism and an interest in the business side of consumer finance.
After law school Bulger established herself in Florida practice. She is licensed to practice in the state and built experience on the creditor side of consumer debt work. Over time she moved into matters that combine litigation, regulatory questions and client counseling. Her day-to-day work requires attention to procedural detail and an understanding of both state and federal consumer statutes.
Her practice often involves filing and defending collection suits, advising clients on collections compliance, and responding to borrower disputes. She represents creditors and retail lenders in contested matters and routine collection actions. She also handles pleadings and motions practice, case management and settlement negotiations when they arise. Those tasks make up much of her calendar and inform how she trains associates and interacts with in-house teams.
Bulger is a member of several professional organizations tied to her practice areas. She holds memberships in the Florida Creditors Bar Association, the National Association of Retail Collection Lawyers and the Jacksonville Bar Association. Those affiliations offer a place to compare approaches, discuss regulatory developments and stay current on litigation trends across the state and country.
Her approach to cases is methodical. She prepares factual records, evaluates procedural options and communicates regularly with clients about cost and timing. Opposing counsel and judges see her work as transactional as well as litigious. She brings a practical sense to matters that can otherwise be paper-heavy.
She practices at The Bulger Firm, PLLC, where she continues to handle matters for creditors and retail clients. Outside of case files she remains connected to the local legal community through bar association activities and educational programs. Bulger’s current practice focuses on creditor-side representation and retail collection matters.
