Cullen A Tonry began his legal path at Southern University Law Center, where he earned his Juris Doctor in 2004 after starting law school in 2001. The curriculum there shaped his courtroom instincts and introduced him to trial practice. He returned to Louisiana courts soon after and established his legal practice in the state he serves.
