About Cristina Segui
Cristina Segui Quantock built her legal foundation at Campbell University and Campbell Law School. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice and History from Campbell University in 2006 and completed her Juris Doctor at Campbell Law School in 2009. Those years set the stage for an early career in public service.
She began practice in Hoke County, joining the Hoke County District Lawyer's Office as an Assistant District Lawyer in 2009. That role placed her inside the courtroom early in her career. She worked on cases for the office and carried routine prosecutorial responsibilities during that time.
In 2012 she joined Beaver Courie Law Office as an associate. The move took her from a government setting into private practice. At Beaver Courie she continued to appear in court and to handle matters on behalf of clients. Her time at the firm has spanned routine hearings and contested matters in state courts.
Throughout her career she has maintained active ties to professional organizations. She holds membership in the North Carolina Bar Association and has been part of the Hoke County Bar Association since 2009. She joined the Cumberland County Bar Association in 2012 and is also a member of the American Trial Lawyers Association. Those affiliations have connected her to peers across the state and provided access to continuing legal education and trial practice resources.
Colleagues describe her as steady and practical in court. She favors clear preparation over flourish. That approach shows in the way she manages case files and prepares witnesses. It also shapes how she communicates with clients, prioritizing plain language and honest timelines.
Her career path—public prosecutor to firm associate—reflects a mix of courtroom experience and private practice responsibilities. She has handled matters that require familiarity with North Carolina’s state courts and local procedures. She continues to work out of Beaver Courie Law Office in North Carolina, where her practice centers on litigation and court work in state courts.
