Courtney Leigh Winston earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Richmond before moving on to Howard University School of Law, where she completed her J.D. Her academic path combined a private liberal arts education with a historically Black law school, a mix that shaped her courtroom orientation and professional priorities.
She entered the trial bar in 2019 when she began working at Christina Pendleton and Associates. That position placed her in a firm environment where courtroom work and direct client representation were central.
