About Courtney J.
Courtney J. Schneider built her legal foundation at the University of Minnesota, where she earned a B.A., and later took up law studies at the University of St. Thomas, Minnesota School of Law, earning her J.D. Those years shaped how she approaches cases and clients. She learned to read complex records and to explain them plainly to people under stress.
After law school she served as a law clerk in the Minnesota Fourth Judicial District. The clerkship placed her inside the courtroom routine and gave her daily exposure to trial dockets, judicial decision-making, and procedural practice. That early work informed her approach to case strategy and to the realities of litigation in district court.
Schneider practices in Minnesota and has concentrated her practice on family law matters. She represents individuals in proceedings that touch on divorce, parenting time, custody and related financial issues. She is active in local professional organizations. She serves as vice president of the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts — Minnesota Chapter and also holds the vice president position at the Family Law League. In the business networking sphere she leads the Eden Prairie chapter of Master Networks as its president. Those leadership roles involve program planning, peer education and coordination among practitioners and community members.
