About Cory
Cory Tuck built a legal path that moves between military service and private practice. He began his formal education at the New Mexico Military Institute, earning an associate degree in 2000. He then completed a bachelor’s degree in political science at Texas A&M University in 2003. He finished law school at Sturm College of Law at the University of Denver in 2007.
Admitted to the Colorado bar the year he graduated, Tuck has practiced in state and federal courts for nearly two decades. He is admitted to practice in Colorado, the Tenth Circuit, and the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado. His first post-law-school role was with the U.S. Army JAG Corps, where he served as a JAG lawyer starting in 2007. That early period shaped his courtroom experience and exposed him to military justice and government-side litigation.
In 2012 he took on two distinct roles. He joined Gasper Law Group as an associate, stepping into firm-based civil practice. At the same time he served as defense counsel in the U.S. Army Reserves JAG Corps. The combination of civilian litigation and reserve military work gave him a dual perspective on advocacy. It also deepened his comfort in both administrative and contested settings.
Three years later he moved into firm leadership. In 2015 Tuck became partner and owner of Aviso Law, LLC. He has maintained that role since then. He is active in the local legal community. He holds membership in the Ben S. Wendelken American Inn of Court since 2014. He has been a member of the El Paso County Bar Association since 2012 and the Colorado Bar Association since 2007.
Tuck’s background spans trial work, military legal service, and firm management. He handles matters that reach both state courthouses and federal dockets, drawing on courtroom experience developed in the JAG Corps and in private practice. He practices from Aviso Law, LLC, where he focuses on litigation in Colorado and in federal courts, including the Tenth Circuit and the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado, and applies his military legal experience to relevant cases.
