About Kresten
Kresten Hendrix earned his law degree from the University of South Dakota School of Law in 2015 after completing undergraduate studies in political science at Colorado State University. His academic path combined a traditional study of government with a later turn toward legal training. The law degree set the stage for a career that moved from the administrative side of legal services into courtroom work.
Hendrix began his post-collegiate career outside the courtroom. In 2011 he worked as an account manager at Legal Document Solutions, where he handled client-facing responsibilities and learned the operational side of legal filings and document workflows. That early exposure to the practical mechanics of legal practice preceded his move into law firm work. By 2018 he was listed as a lawyer at Hassler Law Office, gaining day-to-day experience in client representation and case management.
In 2020 Hendrix joined Modern Family Law as a lawyer. His practice is grounded in family law matters. He represents clients in divorce and custody disputes and handles related proceedings that often require both negotiation and courtroom advocacy. He is admitted to practice in Colorado and before the United States District Court for the District of Colorado, which allows him to pursue federal matters that intersect with family law when necessary.
Colleagues describe Hendrix as methodical and direct in his handling of cases. He brings a practical approach to case preparation and client counseling. His background in document services and firm practice informs how he organizes evidence and manages timelines. That blend of administrative experience and courtroom work shapes how he prepares for hearings and settlement talks.
Hendrix maintains ties to the local legal community. He has been a member of the El Paso County Bar Association since 2020. He participates in bar activities and local professional events, which keeps him connected to developments in Colorado practice and procedure.
Today Hendrix practices at Modern Family Law, where he works on family court matters and related legal issues. His current practice concentrates on resolving family disputes through both negotiated settlements and litigated solutions.
