About Corrine Evanochko

Corrine Evanochko Cooke built her legal foundation at Villanova, where she earned her J.D. in 2007 after completing undergraduate studies at Duquesne University in 2004. She began practicing law in the mid-2000s, entering a profession that requires steady attention to detail and clear advocacy. Her education set a straightforward path toward family law and litigation in the Mid-Atlantic.

After law school, Cooke joined Stark & Stark as an associate in 2008. The role gave her early courtroom exposure and a steady docket of family law matters. She handled discovery, client counseling and motion practice. Those years sharpened practical skills that later informed how she structures cases and advises clients about risk and options.

Cooke moved to the Weinberger Divorce & Family Law Group and became a partner in 2022. The transition marked a shift from a broader firm setting to an office concentrated on family law issues. As partner she shares responsibility for case strategy, mentoring younger attorneys and guiding complex custody and divorce matters through negotiation and litigation.

She is licensed to practice in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey. That dual jurisdictional standing helps when clients have ties across state lines or face legal questions that involve more than one court system. Cooke also participates in regional professional groups. She is a member of the New Jersey State Bar and the New Jersey Association for Justice, where she has maintained membership since 2008. She served as co-chair of the Mercer County Bar Association Women Lawyers Committee from 2013 to 2015. She also belongs to the South Jersey Collaborative Law Group, which connects attorneys, mental health professionals and financial specialists who work in collaborative practice.

Peers and colleagues describe her as methodical in preparation and pragmatic at the negotiating table. She approaches custody disputes and asset division by breaking complex problems into manageable pieces. That practical stance informs decision-making about settlement versus trial. Her courtroom work is balanced by experience in alternative dispute resolution. She has worked in collaborative settings and negotiated settlements for clients who prefer to avoid long trials.

Outside of casework she has taken on mentoring duties at her firm and in bar committee work, helping newer attorneys navigate family law practice. She has also contributed to continuing legal education within her circles, focusing on procedure and case management rather than theoretical topics.

Cooke currently practices at the Weinberger Divorce & Family Law Group and handles divorce, custody, support and related family law matters.
