About Colton

Colton Whitener earned his J.D. from Widener University Commonwealth Law School in 2021. He completed his legal education during a period of sharp change in the profession and left law school ready to enter practice. The degree provided the formal training that led him into the Pennsylvania bar association and into private practice.

After law school, Whitener joined Statt Law as a lawyer. He brought his recent academic training directly into client work. At Statt Law he has handled day-to-day responsibilities that lawyers take on early in their careers, including client consultations, legal research, drafting pleadings, and appearing in court on behalf of clients in Pennsylvania.

Whitener maintains current membership in the State Bar of Pennsylvania. That affiliation places him among the state’s practicing lawyers and gives him access to continuing legal education and professional resources. His membership status is listed as current.

In practice, Whitener’s routine combines courtroom preparation with office-based legal work. He spends time preparing filings, communicating with clients, and managing case deadlines. Those tasks shape the bulk of his workload. Colleagues describe him as an attorney who prioritizes clarity in client communications and careful attention to procedural steps.

Clients and opposing counsel encounter Whitener primarily through his role at Statt Law. There he functions as a lawyer representing individuals and entities in matters that arise under Pennsylvania law. His responsibilities include assessing legal issues, developing case strategies, and pursuing remedies through negotiation or litigation as the circumstances require.

Outside of casework, Whitener’s membership in the State Bar of Pennsylvania connects him to the broader legal community. Membership offers access to practice resources and events that support lawyers at all stages of their careers. He has used those opportunities to stay current with developments that affect practice in the state.

He currently practices at Statt Law, providing client representation and legal counsel in Pennsylvania.
