About Clare E.

Clare E. Bogdanowicz earned a bachelor’s degree in history from the College of the Holy Cross in 2005 and finished her legal education at Albany Law School in 2009. Those years gave her a foundation in research and argument. They also set the tone for a practice built on methodical preparation and attention to details.

Soon after law school, Bogdanowicz began working in private practice. Early assignments involved legal research, drafting pleadings and supporting more senior attorneys in litigation and transactional matters. Over time she took on greater responsibility for case management and client communication. She is a member of the Military Spouse JD Network, an organization that supports legal professionals connected to the military community.

At North City Law, Bogdanowicz handles a range of matters on behalf of individuals and organizations. Her day-to-day work includes counseling clients, preparing filings and participating in negotiations. Colleagues describe her approach as steady and pragmatic. She tends to break complex issues into concrete steps, which helps clients understand options and next steps.

Bogdanowicz keeps a practical schedule. She balances court dockets, client meetings and document preparation with a steady stream of legal writing. The work requires both close attention to precedent and the ability to explain implications in plain language. That combination is central to how she advises people who are facing unfamiliar legal processes.

Outside of the office she participates in professional networks that create connections among lawyers at different stages of their careers. The Military Spouse JD Network is one such group, and it has provided resources and peer contacts that supplement the work she does at the firm.

Her education at Holy Cross and Albany Law School remains a touchstone for how she organizes a file, frames an argument and communicates a position. Those habits show up in the files she manages and in the way she prepares for negotiations and hearings. Her current practice at North City Law centers on representing clients and providing clear legal counsel.
