About Cindy

Cindy Stine built a path that begins in science and leads to the courtroom. She earned a Bachelor of Science from Pennsylvania State University in 1977 and later completed her legal education at Duquesne University School of Law, receiving a J.D. in 1994. Those two degrees bookend a steady progression from a technical undergraduate background to formal legal training.

Her resume lists a stint as a lawyer at Goldberg, Persky & White, P.C. in 1989. She has since been active in the Pennsylvania legal community. Stine holds memberships in the Allegheny County Bar Association and the Westmoreland County Bar Association. On the statewide level she belongs to the Pennsylvania Bar Association and the Pennsylvania Association for Justice.

Stine also engages with organizations that reflect the kinds of matters she handles. She is a member of the Western Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association and the National Organization of Social Security Claimants’ Representatives (NOSSCR). Those affiliations place her among lawyers who handle courtroom matters and federal disability claims. Over the years she has balanced local bar activity with professional groups focused on trial practice and benefits advocacy.

Colleagues and clients see a lawyer who combines courtroom experience with an understanding of administrative claims. Her work has involved litigation and advocacy before tribunals that decide injury and disability matters. She has maintained ties to both county-level bar communities and specialty organizations, a pattern that keeps her engaged in developments across civil litigation and Social Security practice.

Today she operates out of Stine & Associates, P.C. The firm serves clients in western Pennsylvania and draws on her memberships and courtroom background. She continues to participate in bar association events and trial lawyer forums. At Stine & Associates, P.C., she handles trial work and Social Security disability claims.
