About Christopher Thomas
Christopher Thomas Wilson graduated from the University of Florida with a B.A. in 1995 and returned to the same campus for law school, earning his J.D. in 2000. Those years framed his early interest in the practice of law. He came of age professionally in Florida courts and within Florida legal circles.
He began his post-law school career in private practice. In 2001 he worked at the Law Office of Gary Baker P.A., gaining hands-on experience in courtroom procedure and client representation. Six years later he joined Harris Guidi Rosner, P.A. in 2007. Those positions exposed him to a variety of criminal and civil matters and the rhythms of trial work.
Wilson has been an active participant in professional organizations for much of his career. He joined the Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers in 2004 and the Jacksonville Bar Association in 2005. He added membership in the Northeast Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers in 2010. Since 2015 he has served on the Florida Bar Grievance Committee 4A, a role that involves review and deliberation on professional conduct matters.
The pattern of his affiliations signals sustained involvement in criminal defense circles at both local and state levels. He has taken on roles that place him alongside other defense attorneys, and he has contributed to committee work that touches on ethics and discipline. Colleagues describe him as steady in court and thorough in preparation.
Throughout his career Wilson has handled matters that required courtroom presence and negotiation skills. He has experience moving cases through pretrial stages and presenting arguments before judges and juries. That practical track record informs how he approaches case assessment and client counseling.
He remains based in Florida and active in the state’s legal community. His practice continues to involve criminal defense and related litigation, where he represents clients in state matters and participates in bar committee work that addresses professional standards and disciplinary review.
