About Christopher S.
Christopher S. McCall built his legal foundation at the University of Illinois. He completed a Bachelor of Arts in liberal arts and sciences in 2000, after beginning undergraduate study in 1996. He stayed on at the University of Illinois College of Law and earned his J.D. in 2003. Those years in Champaign-Urbana shaped his early interest in courtroom work and public service.
Early in law school he spent time inside the federal courthouse. In 2001 he served as an intern at the United States District Court, an experience that exposed him to trial-level practice and courtroom procedure. After completing his degree, he joined Kavanagh, Scully, Sudow, White & Frederick, PC in 2002, where he gained experience in a private firm setting that included litigation work and client advising.
McCall moved into public-sector practice in 2005 when he worked for the Peoria County State's Attorney's Office. That post involved prosecutorial duties and collaboration with local law enforcement and county agencies. It offered a different perspective from private practice and deepened his familiarity with Illinois criminal and civil processes.
In 2007 he established McCall Law Offices, P.C. as a vehicle to continue representing clients in the state of Illinois. Founding his own practice allowed him to manage case selection and the day-to-day operations of a small firm. Over time he has overseen cases that required courtroom appearances, pretrial motion practice, and negotiations on behalf of individuals and local entities.
McCall's background mixes public and private roles. He has worked inside the courthouse, within a private firm, and in a county prosecutor's office. That mix informs how he approaches cases and interacts with opposing counsel and judges. He handles matters that arise under Illinois law and maintains an active presence in the state's legal community.
