About Christopher R.
Christopher R. Largay trained as a lawyer in New England. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Saint Anselm College in 1988 and graduated from the University of New Hampshire School of Law in 1991. He entered the bar after completing law school and has built a practice based in Maine while maintaining ties across the region.
He began his career in private practice and rose through the ranks to take on leadership at his own firm. He serves as president and managing partner of Largay Law Offices, P.A., where he oversees both case work and the firm’s day-to-day operations. Colleagues describe him as deliberate in courtroom preparation and pragmatic in client discussions. He has mentored younger attorneys at the firm and handled administrative responsibilities that come with running a small practice.
Largay holds admission to practice in Maine and Massachusetts. He is also admitted to the Federal District Court of Maine and to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit. Those admissions allow him to represent clients in state and federal trial courts, and to pursue appeals when cases move beyond the trial level. His courtroom work has required him to coordinate filings, present oral arguments and manage evidentiary hearings in multiple forums.
Across his career he has balanced courtroom responsibilities with client counseling. That balance has required attention to procedural detail and an ability to explain complex legal issues in plain terms. He prepares pleadings, argues motions and works through discovery matters. In-house, he handles managerial tasks: assigning casework, supervising litigation strategy and ensuring that deadlines are met.
Outside the courtroom, Largay’s professional life is rooted in regional practice. He maintains a presence in Maine’s legal community while also appearing in matters in Massachusetts and in the federal courts where he is admitted. His background in New England law schools and his years in practice inform how he approaches cases and client relationships.
He remains active at Largay Law Offices, P.A., where he leads the firm’s litigation and appellate efforts. His current practice concentrates on representing clients in matters before Maine and Massachusetts state courts, the Federal District Court of Maine and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit.
