About Christopher N

Christopher N Palermo earned his undergraduate degree from Villanova University in 1996 and went on to complete his legal studies at Touro College Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center, receiving his J.D. in 2001. He entered law school after finishing college and emerged with the credentials to begin practice in New York. The academic path he followed combined a liberal arts foundation with three years of professional legal training.

He began his career in private practice immediately after law school. In 2001 he joined Palermo, Palermo, and Tuohy, P.C. as an associate. That role gave him early exposure to the daily responsibilities of a small law firm: client intake, drafting pleadings, and participating in pretrial preparation. Those formative years shaped his approach to handling client matters and collaborating with colleagues in a team setting.

Three years later he took on a leadership role in the firm. In 2004 he became a partner at Palermo Tuohy Bruno, PLLC. That transition marked a shift from associate duties to firm management, business development, and higher-level case strategy. As a partner he balanced the administrative demands of running a practice with the casework itself. The change reflected both an evolution in responsibility and sustained involvement in the courtroom and at the negotiating table.

Outside the office he has maintained ties to the legal community. He is a member of the American Bar Association and the Suffolk County Bar Association. Those memberships reflect ongoing engagement with the profession and provide a forum for staying current on legal developments and procedural changes relevant to his practice in New York.

Over more than two decades in practice he has built experience in private practice settings and in the mechanics of firm leadership. He has handled client matters from initial consultation through resolution. He is known by peers for a straightforward approach to case assessment and for prioritizing practical outcomes for clients. He currently practices at Palermo Tuohy Bruno, PLLC, representing clients in New York.
