About Christopher
Christopher Mossallati built his path to law in classrooms and courtrooms. He completed a B.S. in political science at West Virginia Wesleyan College in 2011 and earned a J.D. from Florida Coastal School of Law in 2015. Those years set the stage for practical work that followed immediately after graduation.
He began public defense work while still in law school. In 2014 he served as an investigator for the Office of Public Defender in the 4th Judicial Circuit. The following year he worked as a law clerk for the same circuit court, gaining hands-on experience with case files, courtroom procedure and judicial decision-making. That early exposure to trial-level practice informed his next moves into private practice.
In 2016 he joined Eraclides, Gelman, Hall, Indek, Goodman, Waters & Traverso as an associate lawyer. There he handled matters typical of a busy associate: drafting pleadings, conducting legal research, and preparing cases for hearings. Two years later he moved to Morgan & Morgan, where he is listed as a lawyer. That progression—from investigator and clerk to associate and then lawyer—reflects steady advancement in litigation-related roles.
Mossallati holds membership in several professional organizations. He is a member of the West Virginia Bar Association and the American Bar Association. He also belongs to the Lee County Bar Association. Those memberships place him in both national and regional professional circles and provide access to continuing legal education and local practice resources.
Admitted to practice in West Virginia and Florida, Mossallati’s background combines trial-court experience with private practice. His early investigative work and clerkship offered exposure to the mechanics of criminal and civil dockets. Later roles required managing client matters, preparing case strategy, and appearing in court. Colleagues describe him as methodical in preparation and steady in courtroom settings.
Outside of the courtroom, his academic roots in political science and law inform a practical approach to litigation. He maintains ties to professional associations and to the courts where he began his career. His practice is rooted in the jurisdictions where he is licensed.
He currently practices at Morgan & Morgan and focuses his practice on litigation matters in West Virginia and Florida.
