About Christopher
Christopher Melendez earned his Juris Doctor from Florida Coastal School of Law in 2013. He finished law school during a busy period for the legal profession and entered practice immediately after graduation. His academic record reflects a steady progression through coursework and practical training that prepared him for day-to-day practice.
He began his legal career shortly after earning his J.D. and has worked in private practice since then. Much of his time has been spent at The Virga Law Office, P.A., where he has served in roles that placed him at several of the firm's locations. That experience exposed him to the operational side of a multi-office practice as well as to the variety of matters a regional firm manages.
In practice, Melendez performs the core tasks that lawyers do: advising clients, researching legal issues, preparing pleadings and motions, and appearing in court when needed.
