About Christopher M.
Christopher M. Wooten took a conventional route into the law. He left Tulane University in 2000 with a bachelor’s degree and earned his J.D. from Cumberland School of Law at Samford University in 2008. Those classroom years set the stage for a practice concentrated on injury law and courtroom work.
After law school, Wooten established himself in Alabama’s legal community. He is admitted to practice in the state of Alabama and before the United States District Court for the Northern District of Alabama. He has been a member of the Alabama Bar Association since 2008. He also maintains memberships in national and state trial groups, including the American Association for Justice and the Alabama Association for Justice, both since 2008. Locally, he is a member of the Huntsville-Madison County Bar Association.
Wooten’s career has centered on representing individuals who have been hurt and pursuing remedies through negotiation and, when needed, litigation. The firm name, Wooten Injury Law, reflects that emphasis. He appears in state and federal forums on behalf of clients, handling the procedural and strategic demands that personal injury matters often require. He is admitted to the Northern District of Alabama, which allows him to bring federal claims when cases fall under that court’s jurisdiction.
Colleagues describe him as steady and practical in the courtroom. His memberships in organizations such as the American Association for Justice and the Alabama Association for Justice keep him connected to continuing education and trial-focused colleagues. Those groups provide access to resources and training that many trial lawyers rely on to manage evidence, prepare witnesses and move cases through complex schedules.
Outside of formal affiliations, Wooten’s workday revolves around case intake, investigation, and advocacy on behalf of injured clients. He balances the paperwork and deadlines of litigation with client contact, trying to keep clients informed at each stage. He practices at Wooten Injury Law, handling personal injury matters that arise in Alabama and, when appropriate, in federal court. His current practice concentrates on representing people injured in accidents and pursuing recovery on their behalf.
