About Christopher M.

Christopher M. Hayden earned his Juris Doctor from Marquette University Law School in 2017. He completed a traditional legal education that emphasized classroom learning and practical exercises. The degree positioned him to enter practice in Wisconsin and to pursue admission to federal court for matters arising in the state.

Hayden moved into legal practice after law school and by 2020 was working as a lawyer at Gimbel, Reilly, Guerin & Brown, LLP. His time at the firm has been spent practicing in matters that proceed in Wisconsin state courts and in federal court in the Eastern District of Wisconsin. He has handled courtroom appearances, brief writing and client counseling as part of his role.

He is admitted to practice in the state of Wisconsin and before the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin. Those admissions allow him to represent clients in both state and federal settings. He is familiar with the procedural demands of both systems and the different deadlines and filing requirements they impose.

Hayden maintains membership in professional associations. He participates in continuing legal education and professional gatherings that supply updates on case law and changes in procedure. Colleagues describe him as collegial in the office and straightforward in client meetings. He balances research and advocacy, preparing written work and appearing in court when cases require it.

At Gimbel, Reilly, Guerin & Brown, LLP he has worked on matters assigned by the firm and contributed to litigation teams. The office environment there emphasizes collaboration among lawyers and staff. Hayden’s role has included supporting more senior attorneys as well as taking primary responsibility on cases that match his courtroom experience.

He represents clients in matters brought in Wisconsin courts and in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin. He is currently a lawyer at Gimbel, Reilly, Guerin & Brown, LLP and practices in both state and federal venues.
