Christopher James Acklin earned his J.D. from Western Michigan University Cooley Law School in 2007, where he concentrated his studies on environmental and real estate law. His coursework and clinic work at Cooley exposed him to regulatory frameworks and property issues in Michigan. After passing the bar, Acklin built his career in Michigan. He is licensed to practice in the state and has spent his professional life working in the Grand Rapids legal community.
