About Christopher G
Christopher G Fleming earned his law degree from Southern Illinois University - Carbondale. He moved into practice in a mix of public and private roles over the next decade and a half. His career shows a balance between courtroom work and running a small practice.
In 2012 he founded the Law Office of Christopher Fleming, PLLC. He ran that firm for several years, representing clients in state courts and building a caseload that required both litigation and client advising. Running a solo practice gave him early experience in case management, client intake, and the day-to-day work of a trial lawyer.
In 2018 Fleming joined the Lenawee County Prosecutor's Office as an Assistant Prosecutor II. In that role he worked on prosecutions in the county system. The position placed him in regular contact with judges, law enforcement, and victims. He handled courtroom appearances and the procedural demands of criminal cases while working inside a county office structure.
Fleming holds admissions to practice before the Michigan courts, the Federal Circuit and the U.S. Supreme Court. Those credentials reflect a practice that extends beyond county lines. They also allow him to file and argue matters in a range of state and federal venues when a client’s matter requires it.
In 2024 he took on a role as Of Counsel at Lievens Law PLLC. In that position he contributes to the firm's work by bringing his experience from both private practice and the prosecutor's office. The of counsel role has allowed him to collaborate on cases while maintaining ties to the local legal community.
He is an active member of the Lenawee County Bar Association and the Monroe County Bar Association. Those memberships keep him connected to practitioners in southeastern Michigan and provide a local forum for professional development and case discussions.
Observers of his career will note a steady progression from solo practice to prosecutorial service and then to a hybrid role at an established firm. That path has given him courtroom exposure, administrative experience, and familiarity with both state and federal procedural rules. He currently serves as Of Counsel at Lievens Law PLLC and maintains a private practice handling matters in Michigan and federal courts.
