About Christopher Campbell

Christopher Campbell Barnds earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Cincinnati College of Law in 2012. He completed his legal studies after several years in the classroom and clinic, where he developed the groundwork for a practice centered on client representation in state courts. The law degree provided a foundation he has built on through local bar work and courtroom experience.

Barnds is admitted to practice in Kansas. He has joined his local professional community in a number of ways. His memberships include the Johnson County Bar Association and the Kansas Bar Association. He is also active in the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association. Those affiliations shape his daily caseload and keep him connected to developments in Kansas law.

Collegial exchange has been a steady part of his career. He participates in the Johnson County Inns of Court, serving in the Family Law Section where lawyers, judges and other professionals discuss practice issues and court procedure. That environment gives him an opportunity to test legal arguments, learn from peers, and discuss courtroom practice in a setting oriented to mentorship and professional standards.

His work at the local bar associations involves both member-level participation and attendance at education programs. He has taken part in CLE events and bar gatherings that address changes in family law and trial practice. Those activities are practical. They help him stay current on procedural shifts and evidence issues that arise in family court settings.

Barnds practices through Barnds Law LLC. He handles matters that commonly appear in Johnson County and the surrounding Kansas courts. He is accustomed to drafting pleadings, preparing clients for hearings, and appearing in court when necessary. He balances negotiation and litigation depending on what a case requires. The office operates as a local practice, focused on resolving disputes and advising clients about next steps under Kansas law.

Outside of casework he continues to engage with the Inns of Court and local bar groups. That engagement informs his daily work and supports an approach grounded in practical courtroom experience. He currently practices at Barnds Law LLC and represents clients in family law matters in Kansas.
