About Christopher
Christopher Borzell took a steady route into law. He earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of South Florida in 1998 and completed his Juris Doctor at the University of Florida in 2006. Those years set the groundwork for a practice marked by courtroom work and in-house counsel experience. He moved into litigation roles soon after finishing law school and has built a career that alternates between trial benches and corporate legal departments.
His early career included a string of positions that exposed him to both defense-side and plaintiff-side litigation. In 2009 he served as an associate at Corless Zinober. The following year he worked as trial counsel for Allstate, gaining direct courtroom experience handling insurer-side disputes. In 2011 he joined Quintairos Prieto Wood & Boyer and McCumber Daniels as a lawyer, where he continued to handle contested matters and motion practice. Those years tightened his courtroom skills and familiarized him with the practical demands of trial preparation.
Borzell’s career also moved into in-house work. In 2014 he served as corporate counsel for E. Viddal & Associates, an experience that broadened his perspective on risk management, compliance and corporate operations. He returned to private practice in 2016 as a lawyer at Robert McKee, PA. By 2017 he was identified as a trial lawyer at Dismuke Law, where he has handled litigation matters and trial assignments. The mix of in-house and firm-side roles gives him familiarity with adversarial courtroom work and the internal needs of corporate clients.
He is licensed to practice in Florida and admitted to the Federal Circuit. Professionally, he has participated in local and statewide trial organizations. Since 2017 he has been a member of the Florida Justice Association and the Tampa Bay Trial Lawyers Association. Those memberships reflect ongoing ties to the trial bar and to practitioners who regularly handle contested civil matters.
Borzell’s work centers on contested litigation and courtroom advocacy. Over the years he has handled matters at both the claimant and defense tables and has experience managing cases from early investigation through trial.
