About Christopher Anthony
Christopher Anthony DiSchino combines in-house corporate experience with private practice. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Boston College in 2007 and received his Juris Doctor from the University of Miami School of Law in 2010. He is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia and in Florida.
Early in his professional life he served as an associate at Roca | Gonzalez, P.A. That role introduced him to transactional work and client counseling. He moved into in-house roles soon after, taking on responsibilities that expanded beyond traditional legal tasks and into business development and strategic planning.
In 2012 he joined Menin Hospitality as General Counsel and Vice President of Business Development and Acquisitions. The position combined corporate legal work with identifying and structuring acquisitions. A year later he took on the role of General Counsel and Director of International Affairs at Del Toro Shoes, where the work encompassed cross-border agreements, licensing, and distribution matters. Those roles put him at the intersection of law, deal-making, and international commerce.
By 2014 he was managing partner at DiSchino & Company, PLLC, a role that reflected a shift toward running a practice while continuing to advise corporate clients. That experience led to his current work at DiSchino & Schamy, PLLC, where he maintains a practice grounded in transactional law and general counsel services. Over the course of his career he has handled contract negotiation, acquisition documentation, corporate governance matters, and international commercial agreements.
Colleagues and clients have noted his comfort operating inside business teams as well as at the outside counsel table. He draws on in-house experience at hospitality and retail companies when advising clients on deal structure and operational implications. The pattern of his career shows repeated movement between pure legal tasks and responsibilities that require commercial judgment.
He is active in the District of Columbia legal community and holds membership in The Washington D.C. Bar. That association, together with his dual licensure, positions him to advise clients with matters that touch both regional and interstate concerns.
At DiSchino & Schamy, PLLC he manages client matters that range from routine corporate governance to more complex transactional and international issues. He currently practices corporate and transactional law, offering general counsel services and advising on business development, acquisitions, and international commercial matters.
