About Christine L.

Christine L. Landis graduated from Quinnipiac University School of Law in 2013 after completing honors concentrations in Criminal Law and Advocacy and in Civil Advocacy and Dispute Resolution. She earned her B.A. from Quinnipiac College in 2010. Those years on campus shaped her legal training and guided the first steps of her career.

She is admitted to practice in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut. Early work in her career led her into courtroom preparation and the mechanics of civil dispute resolution. Over time she turned those classroom concentrations into everyday practice, applying the skills she developed in law school to real-world matters.

Landis is active in professional circles. She holds memberships in the American Bar Association, the Connecticut Bar Association and several county bars, including New Haven and Fairfield. She also belongs to the Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association, the Connecticut Criminal Defense Lawyers Association and the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. Those associations have provided a network of peers and continuing legal education.

Her practice has been based at The Law Offices of Mark Sherman, LLC. At that firm she represents clients in both criminal and civil settings. She prepares pleadings, engages in negotiation and handles procedural work that litigation requires. The firm environment has offered steady exposure to contested matters and alternative dispute resolution processes.

Colleagues describe her work as detail-oriented and composed under pressure. She approaches case preparation methodically, breaking complex problems into manageable parts. That approach reflects the dual honors in criminal and civil advocacy she earned at Quinnipiac and the procedural habits cultivated in practice.

Outside the office she remains connected to local bar activities and statewide professional groups. She attends seminars and participates in programs that address trial skills and criminal defense topics. Those activities keep her current on procedural updates and evolving case law.

Her current practice at The Law Offices of Mark Sherman, LLC centers on criminal defense and civil advocacy.
