About Amanda C.
Amanda C. Telesco earned her J.D. from Quinnipiac University School of Law in 2015. She completed her undergraduate studies at Loyola University Maryland in 2011. Those years of formal training provided the foundation for a career in the Connecticut legal community.
After law school she moved into practice and joined The Law Offices of Mark Sherman, LLC as an associate. She works alongside experienced trial attorneys and handles day-to-day responsibilities typical of firm litigation practice. Her role involves preparing cases, meeting clients, and supporting courtroom work.
Her professional memberships reflect the areas in which she works. She holds memberships in the Connecticut Bar Association, the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and the Connecticut Criminal Defense Lawyers Association. She has been a member of the Fairfield County Bar Association since 2015. Those affiliations connect her to peers, continuing education and local court practice.
Telesco’s practice deals primarily with criminal defense matters in Connecticut courts. She represents clients in state-level proceedings and assists through key stages of a criminal case. That can include pretrial preparation, hearings and advocacy in court. She draws on the resources of her firm to handle both routine and contested matters.
Colleagues describe her as attentive to case details and responsive to clients’ questions. In a small-firm environment she balances research, motion practice and client conferences. The work requires managing tight deadlines and adapting to the changing demands of trial calendars and court schedules.
She remains active in local bar activities and professional groups that concentrate on criminal defense issues. Participation in those organizations helps maintain familiarity with developments in Connecticut criminal law and procedure. It also provides opportunities for collaboration on strategy and practice management.
Telesco continues to build her experience at The Law Offices of Mark Sherman, LLC. She practices in Connecticut and represents individuals in criminal defense matters at the firm.
