About Christine L.
Christine L. Bartlett built her legal foundation at Indiana University Bloomington. She received a Bachelor of Arts in 2007 and returned to the same campus to complete her J.D. in 2011. Those years in Bloomington shaped her early approach to the law and set the stage for her admission to practice in Indiana and before the Seventh Circuit.
Early in her professional life Bartlett joined Ferguson Law in 2011. Records show her association with that firm beginning the same year she earned her J.D. She spent her early years in practice developing courtroom experience and learning the practical demands of representing clients in both state and federal settings.
Bartlett is admitted to practice in Indiana and before the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit. That dual admission allows her to appear in state courts and to handle matters that reach the federal appellate level. Over time she has handled filings, brief writing and court appearances that arise from that mix of state and federal work.
Her professional memberships have continued since she first began practicing. She maintains current membership in a professional association, participating in the continuing education and peer contacts that those memberships provide. Those ties keep her engaged with developments in case law and procedural practice that affect litigators across the state and circuit.
Colleagues describe Bartlett as methodical in preparation and direct in court. She approaches filings and oral arguments with attention to procedure and respect for precedent. That practical orientation informs how she evaluates cases and advises clients about realistic outcomes and next steps.
Today Bartlett operates her practice in Indiana and appears where matters require action in the Seventh Circuit. She handles matters that involve court filings, procedural work and appellate submissions. Her current practice centers on representing clients in state and federal court proceedings and managing the litigation tasks those matters entail.
She continues to build experience in the Indiana legal community while maintaining the ability to take cases into the federal appellate system when necessary. Bartlett’s current practice focuses on litigation-related work in Indiana and before the Seventh Circuit.
