About Christine C

Christine C Zaouk built a career on two complementary strands: business training and legal education. She earned a B.A. in Business Economics from the University of California, Riverside in 2004 and completed her J.D. at Southwestern Law School in 2007. Those years shaped her analytical approach and provided a foundation for the legal work she would take on in California.

After law school she entered the California bar and established herself in private practice. In 2016 she took on the title of Of Counsel at McCathern, PLLC, a role she continues to hold. That position placed her inside a firm environment where she could apply both transactional thinking and litigation experience to client matters. Over time she became a steady presence at the firm, advising on issues the firm handles and working alongside other attorneys on more complex files.

As Of Counsel, Zaouk has handled a range of legal tasks typical of experienced lawyers operating in a firm setting: counseling clients, preparing documents, and collaborating on case strategy. Much of her work has required translating business concerns into legal options. Her background in business economics informs how she evaluates financial implications and risk for clients. She communicates plainly and aims to present practical choices rather than abstract theory.

Zaouk also maintains active professional memberships. She keeps current affiliations with bar and industry groups and participates in the networks that lawyers use to exchange information and stay updated on legal developments. Those connections have helped her follow changes in California law and remain engaged with practitioners across specialties.

Colleagues describe her approach as methodical. She tends to break complex problems into discrete steps and to focus on the immediate next moves that will advance a client’s position. That style is evident in both transactional matters and contested files. Her training from UC Riverside and Southwestern Law School continues to shape how she frames issues and constructs arguments.

In day-to-day practice she operates from McCathern, PLLC in California, where she works on the kinds of matters the firm accepts and manages. Her current practice at McCathern, PLLC is centered on the matters the firm handles.
