About Christine

Christine Bruen built her legal foundation at The Catholic University of America Columbus School of Law, where she earned her J.D. in 1993. She earlier completed undergraduate studies at the University of Virginia, graduating in 1988 with a B.A. in U.S. government and history. Those years of study set a steady course for a career spanning multiple jurisdictions.

After law school, Bruen entered practice and expanded her credentials across state lines. She is licensed to practice in South Carolina, Virginia and Wisconsin. That multi-jurisdictional standing has shaped the kind of work she accepts and the clients she represents. It has also required keeping current on rules and procedures in three separate bar systems.

Her work history has included roles that demanded both courtroom presence and careful legal drafting. Colleagues describe a lawyer who balances litigation tasks with transactional or advisory responsibilities when cases call for them. Her background allows her to move between procedural maneuvers and substantive legal analysis without losing sight of practical client needs.

Bruen’s education in government and history informs her legal judgment. She reads statutes and precedent against a broader institutional backdrop, and she pays attention to how procedural choices affect long-term outcomes. In court, that translates into an awareness of how facts, timing and jurisdictional strategy intersect. Outside of litigation, she applies the same attention to detail in pleadings and negotiations.

Throughout her career she has adapted to changes in law and practice. She has maintained active registrations in multiple states and managed the logistical demands that come with cross-border representation. That adaptability has made it possible for her to serve clients whose matters span state lines or who need counsel familiar with more than one legal system.

Today Bruen practices from J. Kippa Law Office, LLC. She continues to take cases and advise clients in the states where she holds licensure. Her current work at J. Kippa Law Office, LLC addresses legal matters for clients in South Carolina, Virginia and Wisconsin.
