Christine Bremer Muggli is a seasoned personal injury attorney at Bremer & Trollop Law Offices, S.C., located in Wausau, Wisconsin. With over 40 years of legal experience, she developed her expertise in personal injury and medical malpractice cases. Muggli earned her Juris Doctor from Loyola University Chicago School of Law in 1978. She is admitted to practice law in Wisconsin and is a proud member of the Wisconsin State Bar. Her legal career began as a Special Assistant Attorney General with the Illinois Department of Mental Health & Developmental Disabilities. This role provided her with inexperience in navigating complex legal issues.
In 1982, Muggli relocated to Wisconsin, where she joined Rogers & Bremer in Merrill. This marked the beginning of her influential presence in the Wisconsin legal field — By 1989, she co-founded Grischke & Bremer in Wausau, further establishing her reputation in the field. After the firm dissolved in 2002, she took a significant step by founding her own practice, Christine Bremer & Associates. In 2006, Muggli became the chief shareholder of Bremer & Trollop Law Offices, S.C., which has expanded to include offices in Wausau, Stevens Point, Marshfield, Minocqua, and Antigo. Her leadership has been instrumental in the firm's growth and success. Throughout her career, Muggli has received numerous accolades for her contributions to the legal profession.
In 2010, the Wisconsin Association for Justice honored her with the Robert L — Habush Trial Lawyer of the Year Award, recognizing her commitment to justice and advocacy. Muggli has been consistently listed on the Wisconsin Super Lawyers list and was named among the Top 25 Women Wisconsin Super Lawyers in 2018. Additionally, she has been featured in the Wisconsin Law Journal’s annual publication, Women in the Law, for her leadership as President of the Wisconsin Association for Justice and her role in founding the WAJ Women’s Caucus. Her influence extends beyond her practice; she has actively participated in various legal and civic organizations throughout her career. In her community involvement, Muggli served as the past president of the Wisconsin Association for Justice and is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates. From 2019 to 2022, she co-chaired Governor Evers’ Judicial Selection Advisory Committee, demonstrating her commitment to judicial integrity.
Muggli has also been a member of the Wisconsin Federal Nominating Commission and participated in the Democratic National Committee, serving in the Electoral College in 2008 and 2012. Married to Paul Muggli, the business manager of Bremer & Trollop Law Offices, she is a proud mother of five adult children and a grandmother. Muggli continues to represent clients in personal injury and medical malpractice cases while remaining active in her community and professional organizations.
