About Christina

Christina Saunders grew up studying art history and English before turning to the law. She earned a B.A. from Bates College in 2006 and a J.D. from the University of Utah in 2009. The combination of liberal arts and law informs how she approaches problems. She reads carefully and argues plainly.

After law school she built a practice that crosses state lines. She is licensed to practice in Utah and Colorado and has worked on matters that require coordination across both jurisdictions. Her path has included courtroom work, transactional matters and counseling for companies and individuals.

Her practice centers on intellectual property matters. She advises clients on trademark and copyright questions, and she has handled disputes that touch on IP issues as well as related business conflicts. She also assists clients in developing protection strategies and responding to enforcement claims. She balances written advocacy with negotiated solutions, depending on what a case requires.

Saunders has been active in professional circles that concentrate on intellectual property. She is a current member of the Colorado IP Inns of Court and previously served on its board. She also holds membership in the Colorado State Bar. Those roles have kept her engaged with evolving case law and best practices in IP and litigation.

Colleagues describe her work style as meticulous. She pays attention to factual detail and to procedure. That attention shows up in drafting, in discovery, and at hearings. She approaches disputes methodically and expects the same rigor from opposing counsel.

She is based at Saunders & Saunders, where she handles a mix of client counseling and contested matters. Her caseload includes brand protection, enforcement responses, and contract issues that intersect with intellectual property. She represents businesses and individuals at different stages of development and scales her advice to match the client’s needs.

Outside of the courtroom and the conference room, she continues to follow developments in IP law and participates in bar and Inns of Court programming. Her current practice emphasizes intellectual property counseling and litigation across Utah and Colorado.
