About Christina Latta
Christina Latta Henry studied Asian studies at Dartmouth College, receiving her B.A. in 1990. She went on to earn her J.D. from Boston College in 1996. Those years set a foundation in both humanities and law. They also preceded a string of roles in bankruptcy and consumer law that would shape her career.
She began her legal work as a law clerk in 2000 at the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of California. That position introduced her to the procedural demands of bankruptcy practice and the pressures of complex caseloads. In 2002 she joined Routh Crabtree & Olsen as an associate. Two years later she moved to Crocker Law Group, continuing in associate roles and gaining further courtroom and litigation experience.
In 2006 Henry launched Seattle Debt Law, LLC and served as its principal. The firm’s name reflected the area she had been handling—consumer debt and bankruptcy matters. In 2012 she became a shareholder and lawyer at Seattle Consumer Justice, P.S. Those moves signaled a transition from associate work to firm leadership and client-facing practice. She has handled a range of matters arising from debt collection, credit disputes and related consumer issues.
Her admissions include the State of Washington and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. The bankruptcy clerkship early in her career gave her direct exposure to federal bankruptcy proceedings, and her later roles involved representation of individual consumers and businesses in state and federal forums. Her professional path shows steady movement into consumer-oriented litigation and advocacy within the civil courts.
Colleagues and clients encounter an attorney who has combined courtroom experience with time spent running a small law firm. At Seattle Consumer Justice she holds a leadership position and works on cases that involve consumer protection, debt collection defense and bankruptcy-related matters. She handles litigation, advises clients on dispute resolution and manages case strategy. She currently practices at Seattle Consumer Justice, P.S., where her work is concentrated on consumer protection and debt-related litigation.
