About Christian Garrett
Christian Garrett Haman graduated from Emory University School of Law in 2018, where he earned his J.D. and completed a Transactional Law and Skills Certificate. He also contributed to the Emory Corporate Governance and Accountability Review, earning a Journal Certificate that reflects early interest in the corporate and regulatory questions that often intersect with insolvency work. Those academic credentials set a foundation for the legal work he does today.
He entered the Florida legal community after law school and built a practice around bankruptcy matters. Over the years he has taken on roles that extend beyond casework. He is an active member of the American Bankruptcy Institute and holds an officer position in local legal organizations that focus on bankruptcy practice and young lawyers’ issues.
Haman has held leadership posts in regional professional groups. He has served as Vice President of the Young Lawyers Section of the Collier County Bar Association. In 2023 he became President of the Southwest Florida Bankruptcy Professionals Association, a role he continues to hold. Those positions put him in frequent contact with judges, trustees and other bankruptcy practitioners across the district, and they shape how he approaches procedural and substantive issues in practice.
At Dal Lago Law he is listed as a bankruptcy associate. His legal training at Emory, including coursework and journal work tied to governance and transactional skills, informs his approach to client matters and litigation strategy. Colleagues describe him as someone who stays engaged in professional organizations and seeks out roles that influence local practice standards and networking among bankruptcy professionals.
Haman’s membership in multiple associations reflects a practice that blends courtroom work, professional education and community involvement. He participates in programs aimed at educating attorneys and nonlawyers about bankruptcy topics. In his leadership roles he has organized meetings and panels that focus on procedural developments and practical problem solving in insolvency matters.
He remains based in Florida and continues to maintain an active presence in the state’s bankruptcy bar. He currently practices bankruptcy law at Dal Lago Law in Florida.
