About Chris
Chris White has built a diverse academic portfolio that spans criminal justice, law and human rights. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and History from Old Dominion University and earned his J.D. from Nova Southeastern University. He later completed an LL.M. in International Legal Studies at Liberty University School of Law and studied Human Rights Law at the University of Oxford. He also earned a certificate from the National Trial Advocacy College at the University of Virginia School of Law. He is pursuing a Ph.D. in Criminal Justice at Liberty University.
After law school, White launched his own practice. Since 2016 he has operated Chris White Lawyer, LLC. That step put him in the role of counselor and trial lawyer, managing both the legal work and the business of a small firm. The experience of running a solo practice has shaped how he approaches case strategy, client communication and courtroom preparation.
White is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia, Virginia and Florida. He holds membership or standing in each of those bars. His legal education includes trial training, and he has supplemented that background with international studies in human rights. Those elements surface in the variety of matters he accepts and in how he frames legal problems for clients.
Outside the bar roll, White carries certifications that speak to interests beyond the courtroom. He is a commercial pilot and a certified flight instructor, credentials issued by the Federal Aviation Administration. Those qualifications have informed some client matters and have also shaped his professional rhythm and schedule.
Colleagues describe White as methodical in preparing a file and direct when addressing evidentiary or procedural questions. He spends time on trial work as well as on research-intensive matters tied to international legal principles. His Oxford studies and LL.M. coursework inform how he handles cross-border or human-rights–related issues when they arise.
In practice he blends litigation training from the National Trial Advocacy College with academic work in international law and criminal justice. He staffs his firm, Chris White Lawyer, LLC, and engages clients in the District of Columbia, Virginia and Florida. He currently concentrates his practice through Chris White Lawyer, LLC, handling matters across those jurisdictions.
