About Cheryl
Cheryl Gracey earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia in 2011 and completed her Juris Doctor at Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School in 2014. Her academic path combined a traditional liberal arts foundation with three years of law school study in Atlanta. Those years shaped the practical side of her approach to the law.
She entered practice immediately after law school. In 2014 she joined Dallas Law Office as an associate. The role placed her on the front lines of client work early in her career. She handled case preparation, client interviews, and drafting pleadings while learning day-to-day office management and courtroom procedure.
In 2018 she moved into a leadership role as a partner at Dallas & Gracey Law Office. The partnership reflected a shift from primarily supporting work to leading client matters and mentoring junior attorneys. Her responsibilities expanded to include supervising case strategy, managing client relationships, and overseeing firm operations. Colleagues describe her as methodical; she sets clear priorities and expects thorough case preparation from her team.
Gracey is licensed to practice in both Georgia and South Carolina. She maintains active membership in professional organizations and participates in continuing legal education to stay current on statutory and procedural changes in the two states. Her work requires familiarity with the differing rules and calendars that come with holding licenses in neighboring jurisdictions, and she balances those demands in her daily practice.
Over the years she has built a practice that centers on steady client representation and pragmatic problem solving. She approaches cases by breaking them into manageable steps and communicating clearly with clients about options and likely outcomes. Her office handles matters that require both negotiation and courtroom presence when necessary. She currently handles legal matters for individuals and businesses in Georgia and South Carolina.
