About Charles
Charles Lamberton earned a B.A. in economics from Saint Olaf College in 1993 after attending from 1989 to 1993. He continued his studies at the University of Pittsburgh School of Law and received his J.D. in 1996. Those classroom years framed an interest in law that would steer his career toward litigation and employment matters.
He began his professional practice in employment litigation. In 2000 he joined Rothman Gordon, P.C. as an employment litigation associate and handled trial and motion work for the firm. Three years later he opened his own practice. Since 2003 he has been the owner of Lamberton Law Office, LLC, directing day-to-day operations and overseeing litigation for individual clients.
Mr. Lamberton is active in local and national professional groups. He has held leadership posts in the Allegheny County Bar Association, serving as past chair of the Labor & Employment Section. He is a past chairman of the Western Pennsylvania Employment Lawyers Association and was once chair of the Western Pennsylvania Young Lawyers Division of the Federal Bar Association. He has been a member of the National Employment Lawyers Association since 2001 and has participated as a speaker for that organization. He also holds membership in Taxpayers Against Fraud.
His practice centers on employment disputes and related litigation. He represents clients in matters that often involve contested hearings, motions practice and trial preparation. He is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, and his work has included appellate filings when cases proceed beyond the trial court. Colleagues describe him as methodical at preparing cases and direct in courtroom settings.
Clients and peers see a lawyer who has spent more than two decades focused on workplace law and the mechanics of litigation. He runs a small firm that handles employment litigation from intake through appeal when necessary. He currently practices at Lamberton Law Office, LLC, where his practice focuses on employment litigation and related matters.
