About Charles Kip
Charles Kip Sinclair built his path to law on the backbone of a journalism degree and a law degree earned in the 1960s and 1970s. He completed a B.A. in Journalism at Pennsylvania State University in 1969 and took up legal studies at the University of Miami, earning his J.D. in 1976. Those formative years shaped a voice that would later serve him in courtrooms and in legal advocacy.
After law school Sinclair entered practice in Florida. His career moved into firm leadership in the early 2000s. In 2003 he served as president of Sinclair Law Offices, a position that put him at the center of case strategy, client relations, and trial preparation. Colleagues and opposing counsel have known him as a lawyer experienced in courtroom procedure and trial advocacy.
Sinclair’s professional affiliations track a clear trajectory. He holds memberships in the Florida Justice Association and the Association of Trial Lawyers of America. He is a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum and carries an AV rating from Martindale Hubbell. In 2014 he was a nominee for the Trial Lawyer Board of Regents’ Litigator Award, an acknowledgment tied to trial performance among peers. These associations point to long-standing engagement with professional trial circles and continuing participation in the legal community.
Clients and peers describe a lawyer who relies on preparation and persistence. His background in journalism shows in how he frames issues and questions witnesses. He tends to break complex facts into direct, understandable pieces. That approach serves well in contested hearings and jury trials. Over the decades he has managed litigation teams, prepared witnesses, and handled the tactical decisions that arise in major civil trials.
Today Sinclair remains active in Florida’s legal scene. He continues to handle trial litigation and related courtroom work. His practice reflects the combination of trial experience, professional association involvement, and a long-standing role in firm leadership. He currently practices trial litigation in Florida.
