About Charles J.
Charles J. Nucciarone earned his law degree from Villanova University School of Law in 2016 after studying economics at George Mason University, where he completed a bachelor’s degree in 2012. He moved from an undergraduate interest in markets and policy to courtroom practice. The shift shaped how he approaches casework: attention to numbers and an eye for narrative.
He began his legal career in 2016 as an associate at Robinson Law, PLLC. Over the next several years he held associate positions at Patrick N. Anderson & Associates and at Bancroft, McGavin, Horvath & Judkins, P.C., each role adding time in front of judges and juries and deepening his familiarity with litigation mechanics. In 2021 he joined The Manassas Law Group, P.C. as an associate and was elevated to partner in 2022. Those years included courtroom appearances across the region and management responsibilities inside the firm.
In 2024 Nucciarone opened his own practice, The Virginia Justice Group, where he serves as lawyer and owner. The move to found a boutique firm followed nearly a decade of practice in Virginia courtrooms and a steady accumulation of trial experience. His work has involved both pretrial litigation and handling matters that reach trial, tasks that require preparation, persuasive writing and comfort under pressure.
Nucciarone is licensed to practice in Virginia and maintains memberships in several local and statewide bar organizations. He holds current memberships in The Fairfax Bar Association, the Prince William County Bar Association, the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association and the Virginia Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. Those affiliations reflect the professional networks he relies on and the calendar of CLE, panel discussions and local bar events that inform his practice.
Colleagues say he brings a practical approach to case assessment and client counseling. He tends to break complex issues into concrete choices and to map those choices against likely courtroom outcomes. That approach has guided his transition from associate to partner and now to firm owner, where administrative duties sit beside casework on a daily basis.
He now operates The Virginia Justice Group and continues to handle trial matters and criminal defense in Virginia courts. His current practice concentrates on trial work and criminal defense in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
