About Charles Christian
Charles Christian Young earned his law degree from Quinnipiac University School of Law in 1998. He arrived at law school after several years of undergraduate study and left with a J.D. at a time when the legal landscape in Connecticut was shifting. The academic training he received emphasized both courtroom procedure and client counseling, foundations that have guided his career.
After graduation he entered the Connecticut bar and established a steady practice in the state. Over the years he has handled client matters across a range of routine and complex issues that come before state courts and administrative bodies. Colleagues describe him as methodical; he approaches cases by breaking problems into clear, manageable parts and then addressing each in turn.
In 2007 he served as a Grievance Panelist for the State Grievance Committee. In that role he reviewed complaints and participated in deliberations about whether grievances warranted further action. The position required careful attention to professional rules and an ability to assess conduct against established standards. That experience added an administrative dimension to his courtroom work and deepened his understanding of professional responsibility.
His office is at Cohen and Wolf. There he works alongside attorneys who handle a variety of matters for clients based in Connecticut. His daily work includes client counseling, filing and responding to pleadings, and preparing for hearings and mediations. He has handled both individual client issues and matters involving businesses and organizations that interact with the state regulatory framework.
Outside of case work he has remained involved in the legal community. His time on the grievance panel kept him engaged with the ethics side of practice. He continues to maintain professional ties that help him stay current on developments in state law and procedure.
As of 2026 he practices law at Cohen and Wolf in Connecticut, representing clients in state matters and participating in both litigation and advisory work.
