About Charles C.

Charles C. Rifici completed his undergraduate degree at Rutgers University in 2009 and earned his J.D. from Rutgers School of Law in 2013. During law school he served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Karen Williams, U.S.M.J., in the District of New Jersey and took part in other practical placements that exposed him to judicial decision-making and appellate procedure. Those early experiences shaped his understanding of courtroom procedure and legal research.

His early legal work included a judicial internship with the Honorable Anthony J. Parrillo of the Superior Court of New Jersey, Appellate Division, and a 2011 law clerk position at Donnelly Ritigstein. After law school he clerked for the Hon. Anthony F. Picheca, J.S.C., on the Superior Court of New Jersey in 2013. The sequence of clerkships and externships provided sustained exposure to trial- and appellate-level practice in New Jersey.

In 2014 he joined Kearns Rotolo Law as an associate. He worked on litigation and case management there and moved through roles with increasing responsibility. In 2022 he became a partner at the firm. That progression reflects more than a decade spent handling matters in the New Jersey court system and working within a small-firm environment.

Rifici maintains memberships in the Hunterdon County Bar Association and the New Jersey State Bar Association. He is admitted to practice in New Jersey and has handled courtroom matters, legal research, written pleadings and client advisement arising from state-court practice. Colleagues describe him as methodical in preparing records and attentive to procedural detail. He has experience working on both trial-level and appellate matters stemming from his prior clerkship work and subsequent litigation practice.

At Kearns Rotolo Law he continues to work from the firm’s offices, handling cases that require navigation of New Jersey’s courts and rules. His practice combines courtroom experience, clerkship background, and firm-side litigation practice. He is currently engaged in the firm’s New Jersey practice and represents clients in matters before state courts.
