About Charlene M.
Charlene M. Morrow earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Southern California before attending the University of California, Berkeley School of Law for her J.D. She moved through law school at a moment when many students were deciding between practice and public service. Her education provided the foundation for a litigation career that spans trial and appellate work in federal courts.
She is a partner at Fenwick & West LLP. In that role she works with clients and colleagues on matters that require appearances in a range of federal venues. As partner she oversees case strategy, manages teams of lawyers and liaises with experts and clients to prepare cases for trial and appeal.
Morrow is admitted to practice in California and holds admissions in a number of federal courts and circuits. Those include the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern District of California, Northern District of California, Central District of California, Eastern District of Texas, Northern District of Illinois and the District of Arizona. She is also admitted to the 9th Circuit, the Federal Circuit and the U.S. Supreme Court. That list reflects a practice that regularly spans both trial and appellate phases of litigation.
Her professional memberships include current standing in the State Bar of California. She participates in the firm’s litigation practice and works with other attorneys on briefing, oral argument and courtroom strategy. Colleagues describe her as methodical in preparing for hearings and deliberate in managing written advocacy, preferring clarity and precision in both briefs and oral presentation.
Morrow’s career shows steady involvement in federal litigation across several jurisdictions. She handles matters that bring together trial preparation, dispositive motion practice and appellate briefing. Her current practice concentrates on federal trial and appellate litigation.
