About Chad

Chad Jones built a legal path that began in the classrooms of Texas A&M and led to courtrooms across the state. He earned a B.B.A. in marketing from Texas A&M University in 1989 and returned to Houston to complete his J.D. at the University of Houston in 1994. Those years set the foundation for a career spent largely in civil litigation.

After law school he entered practice in Texas. Over time he concentrated his work on personal injury matters and courtroom trials. He is board certified as a Personal Injury Trial Lawyer by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, a designation that recognizes specialization in trial-level work under the state’s standards. He litigates in Texas state courts, where he has spent much of his professional life.

Jones combines trial experience and case management. He has handled jury trials and pretrial litigation. He prepares cases for trial, pursues discovery, and argues motions. He has represented plaintiffs in personal injury disputes and has worked through the procedural stages that lead to verdicts or settlements. He emphasizes preparation for trial and an orderly presentation of evidence.

He belongs to professional groups that are common to trial lawyers. His memberships include the Texas Trial Lawyers Association and the American Association for Justice. He maintains involvement in those organizations while running his practice. Those associations provide forums for continuing legal education and for staying current on developments in civil litigation.

Jones maintains a main office and also practices from locations in Midland and Lubbock. He supervises staff and coordinates cases across those offices. He manages filings and court appearances, and he meets with clients in each location when cases require in-person consultations. He balances courtroom work with the administrative duties that keep a multi-office practice functioning.

Colleagues and clients often describe his approach as methodical. He sets out the chronology of a case, identifies key witnesses, and builds documentary support that can be presented in court. He does not take trial work lightly and prepares for the practical realities that trials demand—timelines, expert testimony, and jury presentation.

As of 2026 he continues to practice in Texas, maintaining offices in Midland, Lubbock and a main office, and handling personal injury litigation and trial work from those locations.
