About Casey

Casey Sanders followed a clear academic path into the law. She earned a Bachelor of Science in history from Weber State University in 2007 and completed her Juris Doctor at the University of Oregon School of Law in 2010. Those years set a foundation for a practice rooted in state-level bar work and local professional leadership.

After law school, Sanders became active in Washington's legal community. She joined the Washington State Bar Association in 2011 and maintained membership there. She also held a limited-practice registration with the Nevada State Bar from 2012 to 2013 and spent time as a member of the King County Bar Association in 2011 and 2012. Early in her career she took on leadership roles in local organizations, serving as vice president of the First Judicial District Bar Association in 2013.

Sanders moved into family law circles in Clark County where she has been a constant presence. She joined the Clark County Bar Association's Young Lawyers Section in 2013 and later took on leadership within the county's Family Law Section, serving as vice president in 2016 and as president from 2017 to 2018. Her involvement reflects sustained engagement with county bar governance and the practice community.

In addition to bar work, Sanders has been involved in community outreach. Since 2017 she has been a member of the Fort Vancouver National Trust Outreach and Engagement Committee, a role that places her in civic and preservation efforts beyond the courtroom. That community work runs alongside her professional commitments and local bar activity.

Professionally, Sanders is a senior lawyer at McKinley Irvin. She practices from the firm's Vancouver office and also serves clients through the Portland office. Her senior role indicates long-term work on family law matters and positions her among the firm's experienced practitioners in that area.

Colleagues and local bar records show a steady progression from law school graduate to an attorney active in both bar leadership and community committees. Sanders combines that background with a practice anchored at McKinley Irvin, where she continues to represent clients in family law and related proceedings.

She currently practices family law at McKinley Irvin, working from the firm's Vancouver and Portland offices.
