About Faye

Faye BreitReed attended the University of Arizona before continuing her legal education at Lewis & Clark Law School. She moved through the usual stages of legal training and early practice, building ties in the communities where she has worked. Her academic background provided the foundation for a career that combines bar leadership and volunteer service.

Her involvement in local legal organizations dates back to at least 2013, when she became a member of the Clark County Bar Association. Over time her role there expanded; she has served as the association's vice president since 2019. Colleagues describe that role as involving both administrative duties and public-facing responsibilities tied to the bar's activities and programming. She has also been part of the Clark County Volunteer Lawyers Program since 2016, a position that has kept her connected to pro bono and community-oriented legal work.

Outside the bar, BreitReed spent a period of time with the Junior League of Portland from 2015 to 2016. That experience added a civic and community-service element to a career that balances professional association work with client service. Her membership record also lists other current memberships, reflecting steady participation in the professional life of her region.

BreitReed's career path led her to a role at McKinley Irvin. At that firm she practices law and handles tasks typical of practitioners who manage cases, advise clients, and appear in court when needed. She has combined firm work with leadership duties in the bar, which has required juggling casework with committee meetings, event planning, and outreach efforts.

People who have worked with BreitReed note her practical approach to case management. She breaks complex matters into clear steps for clients and colleagues. She prefers straightforward communication. That approach has informed both her volunteer work through the Clark County Volunteer Lawyers Program and her duties as vice president of the Clark County Bar Association.

As of 2026 BreitReed remains active in bar leadership and volunteer legal services while practicing at McKinley Irvin. Her current practice centers on serving clients through case handling, courtroom work, and legal counseling at her firm.
